Stimulated vacuum emission and photon absorption in strong electromagnetic fields

According to quantum electrodynamics (QED), a strong external field can make the vacuum state decay producing electron-positron pairs. Here we investigate emission of soft photons which accompanies nonperturbative process pair production. Our analysis is carried out within Furry picture first order in fine-structure constant. It shown that presence initial gives rise an additional (stimulated) channel photon besides pure one. On other hand, number final (signal) includes also negative contribution due absorption production process. These contributions are evaluated and compared. To obtain quantitative predictions domain realistic parameters, employ WKB approach. We propose use optical probe beam, whose intensity changes as it traverses spatial region where electric component background laser present. demonstrated relative on level $1 \%$ be experimentally observed once exceeds $10^{27}~\text{W/cm}^2$ large wavelength interval. This finding expected significantly support possible experimental investigations nonlinear QED phenomena regime.
